We collect information that you voluntarily provide when registering an account, making a booking, or contacting us. This may include your name, email address, and phone number.

We do not collect, store, or process any payment details. All payments are handled securely and directly by third-party payment service providers (PSPs).

When you authorize us via OAuth to access your Google Calendar, we collect and process your Google user data, specifically Calendar events (including event details such as titles, dates, times, descriptions, attendees, and related metadata). We only access this data after you explicitly grant permission through Google's consent screen and only for the purposes described below. We do not access any other Google services or data unless you authorize it.

The collected information is used to provide, maintain, and improve our services, such as enabling seamless booking and scheduling features that interact with your calendar.

Specifically for Google Calendar data:

• We use it to read your existing events (to check availability) and write new or updated events (to create bookings).
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, selling, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to providing our core scheduling services.

We also use your email address to send booking confirmations and important updates.

We never sell your personal data or Google user data to third parties. We only share necessary information with service providers who help us operate our business (e.g., cloud hosting providers). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only on our behalf and for the purposes we specify.

All payments are processed directly by third-party payment service providers (PSPs). We do not receive or handle your payment card details or other sensitive payment information.

Google user data obtained through our use of Google APIs is not shared with any other parties except as necessary to provide the service you requested or as required by law.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information and sensitive Google user data (such as Calendar events) from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include:

• Encryption of data in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) and at rest where applicable.
• Strict access controls — only authorized personnel with a need-to-know basis can access data, and all access is logged and monitored.
• Regular security reviews, vulnerability scanning, and adherence to industry-standard practices (e.g., secure OAuth token handling and storage).
• Secure storage and transmission of OAuth access/refresh tokens.

We are committed to protecting sensitive data in line with Google's requirements and applicable privacy laws.

We retain your personal information and Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Google Calendar data: We generally do not store copies of your full Calendar events beyond what is required for the immediate functionality of the service (e.g., temporary caching for availability checks or active bookings). Any stored data is deleted or anonymized once it is no longer needed.

When you delete your Bokatid.app account or revoke our access to your Google Calendar via your Google Account settings, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize your associated data (including any Google user data we hold) within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal reasons.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see section 7). We will respond to verified requests promptly.

We do not retain Google user data longer than required for the limited purposes outlined in this policy.

You have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information. You can also revoke our access to your Google data at any time through your Google Account settings, which will prevent further access by our app.
